Steam Boiler


Steam boiler or simply a boiler is basically a closed vessel into which water is heated until the water is converted into steam at required pressure. This is most basic definition of boiler.

  • The water is supplied in shell and outside tubes while hot gas is supplied inside tubes so the water volume can not be shaken easily when the fire tube boiler is running.
  • Fire tube boiler is so easy to use, operate, clean and maintain
  • Fire tube boiler can be used in small scale industries.
  • Fire tube boiler is relatively cheaper than water tube boiler.

How it Works

WHAT IS CONDENSATE?

Condensate is the liquid form when steam passes from the vapour to the liquid state. In a heating process, condensate is the result of steam transferring a portion of its heat energy, known as Latent Heat, to the product, or equipment being heated.
Condensate recovery is a process to reuse the water and sensible heat contained in the discharged condensate. Recovery condensate instead of throwing it can lead to significant savings of energy.

Steam Raising Boiler

A boiler is an enclosed vessel that provides a means for combustion, and heat to be transferred into water or other liquid until it becomes steam, which is then used for transferring the heat to a heat exchanger.

Condensate and Heat Recovery System with feed pump mechanism

The condensate and heat recovery system is set up in a suitable trough-like position dug in the ground, and boiler fittings are appended and extended to and from the different heat exchangers across the factory floor.

Condensate and Heat Recovery System without feed pump mechanism

This system is gravity operated, and since level of boiler is lower than those of the heat exchangers, and same as that of the condensate and heat recovery system, no feed pump is required to draw the recovered water to the boiler.
